    Hi everyone,

I was wondering if someone could shed some light on the differences between Maya’s native standardSurface and Arnold’s aiStandardSurface for Verge3D.

Is one better than the other in terms of performance, features/functionality, compatibility, and shader realism/quality?

Curious to hear which of the two you guys are using and why.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

in Verge3D, these 2 systems ain’t different anyhow. We recommend using standardSurface because it is better supported in Maya viewport. :good:
