    Hi. May I ask what source control tool are development teams using for their Verge3D projects? I am looking for a tool that supports collaboration and storage of these large files. I would love to hear from other customers and the Soft8soft team. Thank you!

    Hi Jem,

    I’m using Git with Git LFS for all of my projects now. Gitea for hosting the code centrally. I used to rely on the build in Gitk and GitGui apps that are installed with Git but now I do everything through VScode.

    We (Soft8Soft) uses Git to store engines repository and other projects. I’ve also use Git to keep modeling process in safe during my work on demo scenes during all stages to easely return to any stage of the project if it will be needed. Comfortable to work on linux and win platform, but I use only command line without gui.

    Gary and Mikhail,
    Thank you for the advice. I was worried about managing the large binary files in a Verge3D project. I did not know that Git LFS existed. I did some reading on this topic this weekend and I will attempt to implement it today. Thanks again.
