I have a skinned cylinder traveling along a curve in maya, to get it into V3D I have to bake the translates of 30 joints over 110 frames.
It imports and works in V3D but the geometry disappears sporadically.
Is this an animation key limit?
Try to disable Frustrum Culling checkbox in the object’s settings.
