I’m trying a simple demo of dynamic text where the user enters text and the text object changes. This works, but the camera is selected after the text updates and moving the mouse orbits the text. Is there a way to simply update the text without the camera being selected?
You can add another camera in Blender and set its controls type to “No controls”. Then you can use the set active camera puzzle to switch between your main camera and the static camera in order to disable orbiting when the user enters text.
