    Hi,

In my AR app, I am using annotations (fade enabled) in a 3D model and it was working fine in Verge3D 4.4.0. After porting it to version Verge3D 4.6.0, I have made no changes to the project but the annotations are not showing.
I have enabled “transparent background” and “Fade annotations”.
Please refer to the attached puzzle screenshot.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Please download the sample AR project demonstrating the issue.
Click the “i” icon in bottom right corner to toggle annotation.
But right now the annotations are not working when “i” is pressed.

Also I have noticed another issue in Verge3D 4.6.0, when saving and loading the puzzels.
I created css styles in the Init tab and saved it.
But upon closing the puzzle editor and reopening it, all the values that I have set for the css styles are replace with the default ones.
Please check the images named saved.jpg and LostValues.jpg

Kindly help me to resolve these issues. Thanks

Actually, you could notice this issue right after they introduced those new CSS style puzzles. set style for elem works properly, set style for CSS rule resets to default values. For now, to bypass the problem, use text puzzles instead of the shadow blocks.

Puzzles and JS. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of meaning at all.

Thanks kdv, I will modify it.

Is there a solution available for the issue of annotations (with fade enabled) not displaying in AR?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Thanks for the example app. This is kinda serious bug which we’ll fix in the upcoming preview build v. 4.7 (can be expected on the next week). Meanwhile you can use the workaround suggested by KDV or text inputs to the “set style … css” inputs:

    CSS puzzle

Regarding annotations in AR work, they should work as usual, provided you specify “allow html” in “enter AR mode” puzzle.

it’s the same ))) I meant exactly what you’ve shown on your screenshot )))

BTW, the bug is serious but the fix is very simple. just change updateShape_() logic a little…
