    Hi Guy’s
Looked into the Scroll for 3ds Max version.
So here’s my attempt. Completely setup form 3ds max.
All code is the same & max file camera works also.
Linked materials in puzzle work (not tweaked thou, just working)
Scene rendering also works & scroll not on text also.(extra div)
    Two Questions:
-Fonts work but I dont understand how…??
-How did you do the Background blue effect???

Does the original demo work for you as expected?

Yes, the original demo works correctly in Chrome browser.

Using a new max project and a new verge project, I believe there is a missing capability in the verge 3dsmax exporter.

In the Maya tutorial you mention to set the camera controls to disabled. There is no function in 3dsmax. In my 3dsmax example the object scene pans in or out when I use the mouse scroller. When using the browser scroll bar I am able to see the scrolling effect.

Yes the original works correctly.I will try creating a new scroller from scratch.

    – Disabling the anti alias option resolved the blur issue.

    – With the scroll issue, non of the puzzles have parent doc checked. This is an exact copy of the scroll project. The only difference is I added my own 3d GLTF files.

I received error messages with the 3dsmax 3.3 installer related to python. I hit ignore about 7 times and it completed the install.

I updated to version 3.2 pre2 for 3DS Max and now my previous projects are not visible. The projects are still in the verge3d/applications folder but not visible in the launcher. Please help, what should I do?

Yes, that resolved the problem. Thank you! I did not see this in the documentations.

So then I must control the animation of each bone individually in the puzzles?

I changed puzzle to “on event of” and now it works.

you can use empty description in annotations – then they won’t extend.

Then, you can show a div window with HTML puzzles, upon annotation click.

    Yuri,

This is not working for me. Maybe I am not referencing the annotation correctly in the puzzles. See my example puzzle attached and the HTMl that I have in a parent index file.

Ive resolve the issue. This post can be closed or deleted. Apparently, there was some corruption in the 3DS Max file that caused the gltf file some issues. When I created the teapot model, I first hid the default app cube model. Looking at the max file now I can see that it somehow merged the two models together.

    Thanks, that helped.

In a future release it might be helpful to add the Object tools from the Maxscript rollout to the Verge3D dropdown.
